## The short answer

Pick by channel first. [VoiceDrop](https://agentsindex.ai/voicedrop) drops messages into voicemail from $95 a month with a 7-day free trial, [PipeLime](https://agentsindex.ai/pipelime) writes email and LinkedIn sequences that book meetings into your calendar, and [Apollo](https://agentsindex.ai/apollo) pairs a contact database with email sequences on a free plan.

Then check how you buy and who owns consent. Apollo sells seats online with no sales contact, PipeLime quotes each buyer, and PipeLime and VoiceDrop both leave consent to the customer.

On 8 November 2026 we listed 398 tools: 21 of them under Sales agents and 198 with a free plan.

- Apollo has a free plan, and it is 1 of the 3 that lists one.
- VoiceDrop starts at $95 a month on its Budget plan and offers a 7-day free trial.
- PipeLime quotes each buyer on a 30-minute demo call, and its pricing page states a 15-day, no-questions money-back guarantee.
- PipeLime and Apollo let the buyer set limits on what the agent does, 2 of the 3, while VoiceDrop limits who can launch campaigns and documents no per-action approval gate.
- PipeLime and VoiceDrop both leave outreach compliance with the buyer: PipeLime’s Terms say it does not obtain consents on the customer’s behalf, and VoiceDrop says it is not a law firm and the buyer is responsible for complying with applicable law.

## Which channel does it reach buyers on?

Each pick works a different channel: VoiceDrop reaches buyers through voicemail, PipeLime through email and LinkedIn, and Apollo through email sequences and a dialer.

VoiceDrop delivers messages server-to-server straight into the voicemail box, so the phone never rings, in a cloned voice with support for 32 languages. PipeLime says it writes tailored outreach in 40+ languages and runs adaptive follow-ups until it books the meeting. Apollo builds outbound sequences with Gmail and Salesforce extensions and US dialer support, drawing on its own contact database.

## What does it cost to run, and can we try it first?

Apollo lets a team start at no cost on its free plan, 1 of the 3 with one, while VoiceDrop starts with a trial and PipeLime with a quote and a guarantee.

VoiceDrop’s Budget plan is $95 a month for 500 voice units, about 1,000 static voicemails; it bills successful deliveries and rolls unused units over for 90 days, and its 7-day free trial carries $20 in credits. Apollo charges $49 a seat a month for Basic on annual billing, and credits meter the work at 1 for an email and 8 for a phone number. PipeLime quotes each buyer on a 30-minute demo call and states a 15-day money-back guarantee.

## Can a marketer sign up and set it up without a developer?

A marketer can set up all of them without code, and VoiceDrop and Apollo can also be bought online, 2 of the 3.

VoiceDrop sells its Budget plan through a Buy Now checkout and starts the middle plans from a self-serve signup, then launches from a spreadsheet and a cloned voice. PipeLime lets you create an account with Google and start a campaign the same day, but every paid plan routes to Talk to sales; setup is an AI onboarding interview. Apollo runs sign-up, plan purchase and its 14-day trial without sales contact, with sequencing and workflows configured in its interface.

## Does it connect to the CRM and tools we already run?

VoiceDrop and PipeLime both name HubSpot, and Apollo works from inside your CRM and AI assistants.

VoiceDrop connects through its API plus Zapier, HubSpot, Shopify, Make and Momentum Labs. PipeLime syncs two-way with Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive and Odoo and reaches contacts through Gmail, Outlook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Slack, Microsoft Teams and Zapier, booking meetings into your calendar. Apollo routes inbound interest with Google Calendar or CRM integrations, enriches spreadsheet, CRM and API records, and runs a hosted MCP server with connectors in Claude, ChatGPT and Perplexity on any plan, the free one included.

## How much can it do on its own, and what does it log?

PipeLime and Apollo let the buyer set limits on what the agent does, 2 of the 3, and VoiceDrop logs every login, campaign creation and message delivery with timestamps.

PipeLime runs inside rules the customer sets, with a sending cap you choose and daily caps on shared-inbox sending. Its marketing pages say the agent sends, replies and adapts follow-ups by itself, while its Terms treat AI output as suggestions the customer must review, and its log of personal-data access is PipeLime’s own record, not a feature in the app. Apollo makes every action reviewable and keeps credit use and guardrails with the customer. VoiceDrop limits who can launch campaigns through Teams roles and lets users cap retries.

## Who carries outreach compliance and data security?

The buyer carries consent with VoiceDrop and PipeLime, which both say so in writing, while Apollo names ISO 27001 and System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 audits.

VoiceDrop builds in do-not-call list scrubbing, landline filtering and time-zone-aware send windows, under a November 2022 ruling that makes ringless voicemail to a mobile phone a call needing prior express consent; it names a SOC 2 Type II audit done annually. PipeLime’s Terms leave consents, notices and opt-outs to the customer, and its data processing agreement, last updated 21 September 2026, lists 17 named sub-processors and commits to 72-hour breach notification. Apollo’s Trust Center lists ISO 27001 and SOC 2 with a recovery time objective of 6 hours and a recovery point objective of 24 hours.

## The tools that stand out

### [VoiceDrop](https://agentsindex.ai/voicedrop)

**Best for voicemail campaigns in your voice:** VoiceDrop leaves voicemails in a clone of your own voice.

Price From $95 a month

VoiceDrop delivers recorded or AI-personalized messages server-to-server into a contact’s voicemail box, so the phone never rings. Voices are cloned in 32 languages, campaigns retry on a schedule, and HubSpot, GoHighLevel and Shopify connect through native apps. VoiceDrop’s own legal page says a ringless voicemail to a mobile phone needs prior consent, and its terms leave list scrubbing and consent to the customer.

Plans start at $95 a month on Budget, which holds 500 voice units, about 1,000 static voicemails. A static drop uses 0.5 units, successful deliveries are the ones billed, and unused units roll over for 90 days. Individual costs $495 a month, Growth $995 a month and Scale $1,995 a month, and inbound callback minutes add 2 cents a minute. Budget is bought outright, while the higher plans carry a 7-day free trial worth $20 in credits.

Beside PipeLime and Apollo, VoiceDrop is the pick built around voicemail rather than the inbox. A public API and webhooks come on every paid tier, and every login, campaign creation and message delivery is logged with timestamps.

**What it does well**

- Clones your voice and launches from a spreadsheet upload.
- Charges per successful delivery, and unused units roll over for 90 days.
- Native apps for HubSpot and Shopify, with API access included on every plan including Budget.
- Logs every login, campaign creation and message delivery with timestamps.

**Where it falls short**

- The terms disclaim any uptime promise, on every tier including Enterprise.
- Campaign logs, audio and contact lists may be deleted 60 days after upload, and no published setting changes that.
- The AI Callback Agent is in closed beta and Sequences is in early access on every plan.

- **Free trial:** 7 days
- **Who it’s for:** Marketing teams with consented phone lists who want follow-up that sounds personal, launched from a spreadsheet and a dashboard.
- **Skip it if:** Teams whose prospecting runs on email and LinkedIn should pick PipeLime, whose agent drafts those messages and runs the follow-ups.

### [PipeLime](https://agentsindex.ai/pipelime)

**Best for hands-off email and LinkedIn prospecting:** PipeLime’s agent researches each contact, writes the email or LinkedIn message, runs the follow-ups and books the meeting into your calendar.

Price On quote

PipeLime runs outbound from research to booked meeting: it reads each target’s site and LinkedIn, drafts a personalized message, adapts follow-ups and replies to interested prospects. A Website Tracker turns visiting companies into tagged CRM leads with no form, and every generated address is verified before sending. PipeLime says it finds leads across 150+ countries and writes outreach in 40+ languages.

You can sign up with Google and start a campaign the same day, with no card needed. Plans are sized by monthly lead credits rather than seats, and the figure is set on a sales call. A 15-day money-back guarantee is advertised, and you can cancel yourself with no termination fee, effective at the end of the paid period.

Beside Apollo, where your team builds lists and sequences from its database, PipeLime’s agent does the prospecting itself. It syncs with Salesforce and HubSpot and books meetings into your calendar, and the data processing agreement gives a 30-day window after termination to export your data in a machine-readable format.

**What it does well**

- Researches, writes, follows up and books meetings as one agent.
- Lets you launch a first campaign the same day from a Google sign-up.
- Gives a 30-day window after termination to export your data in a machine-readable format.
- Connects to Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, Gmail and Outlook, with CRM sync on every plan.

**Where it falls short**

- It has no public API, so your own tools cannot drive it.
- Its Terms frame the AI’s output as suggestions you must review, so plan for someone to check what goes out.
- Consent, privacy notices and opt-outs for every message stay your job under its Terms.

- **Who it’s for:** Marketing teams asked to fill a sales calendar with meetings who would rather set rules and a sending cap than write each sequence themselves.
- **Skip it if:** Teams that want to start on a standing free plan and add seats as they grow should pick Apollo.

### [Apollo](https://agentsindex.ai/apollo)

**Best for starting free on a contact database:** Apollo keeps a standing Free plan at $0 with no time limit, so a marketing team can build lists and run sequences before buying a seat.

Price Free, then $65 a seat a month

Apollo pairs a business contact database with list building, email sequencing, a dialer, CRM enrichment and meeting scheduling, and the same actions work inside Salesforce, Gmail and a Chrome extension. Its hosted MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT and Perplexity search and enrich on any plan, free included.

The Free plan costs $0 and carries 75 credits per seat per month, 2 sequences per team and 250 daily email sends, with Gmail as the one mailbox it connects. Basic costs $49 a seat a month paid yearly, and Professional $99 or $79 a seat a month. Credits are the real meter, at 1 credit for an email and 8 for a phone number, and they expire each cycle, add-on credits included. Paid plans come with a 14-day trial.

Beside PipeLime, Apollo hands your team the database and the tools rather than an agent that runs the campaign. It names SOC 2 Type II, an audited System and Organization Controls report, and ISO 27001, and every agent action is reviewable, with autonomy widening as you allow.

**What it does well**

- A standing Free plan at $0 that includes the MCP server.
- Salesforce, HubSpot and Pipedrive integrations on every plan.
- Names SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 audits, with reports on request.
- Every agent action is reviewable, and credit use and guardrails stay under your control.

**Where it falls short**

- Credits expire every cycle, purchased add-on credits included.
- The Free plan stops at 2 sequences per team and 250 daily email sends.
- The terms disclaim any guarantee of uninterrupted service.

> “Most integrations connect in a couple of clicks with OAuth or an API key. No code, no IT tickets, no waiting.”

- **Free plan:** yes
- **Who it’s for:** Marketing teams that want a contact database, enrichment for CRM records and email sequences in one place, paid by the seat.
- **Skip it if:** Teams whose follow-up runs on the phone should pick VoiceDrop, which sends voicemails in a cloned voice of their own.

## Questions buyers ask

### Is ringless voicemail legal for marketing campaigns?

Ringless voicemail to a mobile phone needs prior express consent: a November 2022 ruling by the Federal Communications Commission held that it counts as a call under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. [VoiceDrop](https://agentsindex.ai/voicedrop) builds do-not-call list scrubbing, landline filtering, time-zone-aware send windows and per-campaign audit trails into the platform. It also says those are tools rather than a substitute for consent, and that the buyer is responsible for complying with the law.

### Which sales agent has a free plan?

[Apollo](https://agentsindex.ai/apollo) has a free plan, 1 of the 3 that lists one. [VoiceDrop](https://agentsindex.ai/voicedrop) starts with a 7-day free trial that carries $20 in credits.

### How much does PipeLime cost?

[PipeLime](https://agentsindex.ai/pipelime) quotes each buyer after a 30-minute demo call. Its pricing page describes a Pro and an Enterprise tier by their features, and both route to that demo booking. The same page states a 15-day, no-questions money-back guarantee.

### Can a marketing team set these up without a developer?

Yes. [VoiceDrop](https://agentsindex.ai/voicedrop), [PipeLime](https://agentsindex.ai/pipelime) and [Apollo](https://agentsindex.ai/apollo) all set up without code. VoiceDrop launches from a spreadsheet upload and a cloned voice, PipeLime runs an AI onboarding interview and connects your accounts in a couple of clicks, and Apollo configures sequences and workflows in its own interface. Buying online differs: VoiceDrop and Apollo are self-serve, 2 of the 3.

### Do these sales agents connect to HubSpot?

[VoiceDrop](https://agentsindex.ai/voicedrop) and [PipeLime](https://agentsindex.ai/pipelime) both connect to HubSpot. VoiceDrop links campaigns through its API plus Zapier, HubSpot, Shopify and Make, and PipeLime syncs two-way with Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive and Odoo.

### Who is responsible if outreach breaks consent or calling rules?

The buyer is. [PipeLime](https://agentsindex.ai/pipelime)’s Terms of Service say it does not obtain consents, issue privacy notices or handle anti-spam duties for the customer, who must determine a lawful basis, give notices and honor opt-outs for every message. [VoiceDrop](https://agentsindex.ai/voicedrop) says it is not a law firm and the buyer is responsible for complying with applicable law.

### Can I limit what a sales agent does on its own?

Yes with [PipeLime](https://agentsindex.ai/pipelime) and [Apollo](https://agentsindex.ai/apollo), 2 of the 3. PipeLime runs the agent inside rules the customer sets, with a sending cap you choose, and Apollo makes every action reviewable and widens autonomy as the buyer allows. [VoiceDrop](https://agentsindex.ai/voicedrop)’s Teams roles limit who can launch campaigns or read delivery reports, and users cap retry counts, but it documents no per-action approval gate.
