What 16 AI support agents charge for, and what 2,000 chats a month cost on each meter, from Fin's $0.99 an outcome to Agentforce's $2 a conversation.

## The short answer

Three of the 16 AI customer service agents we list charge for a resolved conversation: Intercom Fin at $0.99 an outcome, CoSupport AI from $0.19 a resolved ticket, and Aissist.io, which meters each reply at $0.09 and caps a resolved chat at $0.60. Zendesk charges €1.50 (about $1.68) per automated resolution on top of its agent seats. Salesforce Agentforce charges $2 for every conversation, resolved or not, or $0.10 an action on Flex Credits.

Price alone misleads, because each vendor counts a resolution differently. Fin bills when nobody asks for more help after its last answer. Zendesk has a model check each conversation before it bills. Five of the 16 publish no price at all.

## What 2,000 conversations a month cost

**Table 1. 2,000 chat conversations a month, 1,200 of them resolved by the AI, on each vendor's published price**

| Agent | What it bills | Published price | Billed on handoff? | Cost a month | Per resolved conversation |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [CoSupport AI](/cosupport), resolution plan | Resolved ticket | From $0.19 | No | From $228 | From $0.19 |
| [Robylon](/robylon), Business | Credits | $300 for 10,000 credits | Yes | $425 | $0.35 |
| [Salesforce Agentforce](/salesforce-agentforce), Flex Credits | Action, 20 credits each | $500 per 100,000 credits | Yes | $600 | $0.50 |
| [Aissist.io](/aissist), Growth | AI reply, capped per resolution | $0.09 a reply, at most $0.60 a resolved chat | No | Up to $720 | Up to $0.60 |
| [Intercom Fin](/intercom-fin) | Outcome | $0.99, 50 outcomes a month minimum | Only for a handoff procedure you set up | $1,188 | $0.99 |
| [Zendesk AI agents](/zendesk-ai-agents), Suite Team | Automated resolution, plus seats | €1.50 (about $1.68) committed, €2.00 (about $2.24) pay as you go | No | €1,725 (about $1,931) plus seats | €1.44 (about $1.61) plus seats |
| [Salesforce Agentforce](/salesforce-agentforce), Conversations | Conversation | $2 | Yes | $4,000 | $3.33 |

The same month for every row: 2,000 chat conversations reach the AI and it resolves 60% of them, 1,200, without a person. Only the AI is priced. Robylon uses about 7.5 credits a conversation and charges $25 per 1,000 credits past the plan. Agentforce's Flex Credits are priced at 3 actions a conversation. Zendesk's 10 agents on Suite Team come with 50 automated resolutions a month (5 each), so 1,150 are billed. Zendesk shows these rates in euros on the pricing page we read. Prices are as our listings and the vendors' pages stood on 25 October 2026.

The order changes with your resolution rate. At 30% resolved, Agentforce's per-conversation price comes to $6.67 a resolution, while Fin stays at $0.99. A meter that bills every conversation costs most in the months the AI does worst.

## What counts as a resolution

- **Intercom Fin.** An outcome is a resolution, when "no further help is requested after Fin's last answer", or a handoff procedure you configured. Fin bills one outcome per conversation at most. A plain handoff to your team costs nothing. Qualifying a sales lead costs $9.99.
- **Zendesk.** Only conversations that were not escalated are checked, and a language model confirms each resolution before it bills. A chat closes 2 hours after its first message by default (you can set up to 72), an email after 72 hours, a call at hang-up. Tests in the admin center are free.
- **Aissist.io.** A resolution is a request the AI "fully resolves without escalation". Each reply is metered at $0.09 and you pay the lower of the replies or the cap: $0.60 for a chat, about $0.25 for an email by its own estimate.
- **CoSupport AI.** "Unsolved tickets cost nothing." The pricing page does not say how a ticket is judged solved, so ask before you sign. Its 60-day guarantee refunds every paid day if the AI resolves under 60%.
- **Salesforce Agentforce.** The pricing page does not define a conversation or its time window. Every conversation bills, resolved or handed over.

## Which meter fits

1. **Your help center is thin and the AI will resolve less than half:** pay per resolution. Fin, Zendesk, Aissist.io and CoSupport AI bill nothing for a chat the AI hands over.
2. **You expect a high resolution rate and steady volume:** a monthly plan or credits cost less per resolution. Robylon comes to $0.35 a resolved chat in the month above.
3. **You already run Zendesk or Salesforce:** price the native agent first. Zendesk's seats include at least 5 resolutions per agent a month, and Agentforce's Flex Credits cost far less than its per-conversation price if your flows use few actions.
4. **You run a large contact center with voice:** Sierra, Parloa, PolyAI and Ada quote per contract. Ask for the price per resolved conversation and how a resolution is confirmed, so you can set it against the table above.

Our August study works the same sums at 10,000 conversations a month, with Crisp and Freshdesk included: [what each AI support agent costs per resolved chat](/blog/ai-customer-service-agents-cost-per-resolution).

## How we priced it

We counted the 16 agents published on our [AI customer service agents](/categories/customer-service-agents) shelf on 25 October 2026. Each listing's price comes from the vendor's own pricing page, with the date it was read. For the table we read the pricing pages of Intercom, Zendesk, Salesforce, CoSupport AI, Aissist.io and Robylon again on 25 October 2026, and Zendesk's help article on how automated resolutions are counted. No vendor paid to appear here.

## Questions buyers ask

### How much does Intercom Fin cost per resolution?

$0.99 per outcome, with a minimum of 50 outcomes a month when you use Fin with another helpdesk. With Intercom's own helpdesk you also pay $19 per seat a month.

### Does Zendesk charge for AI resolutions?

Yes. Each Suite plan includes a few automated resolutions per agent a month, 5 on Suite Team. Beyond that Zendesk charges €1.50 (about $1.68) each on committed volume and €2.00 (about $2.24) pay as you go, on the pricing page we read.

### Is per-resolution pricing cheaper than per conversation?

It depends on how many conversations the AI resolves. Against Agentforce's $2 a conversation, Fin's $0.99 an outcome is cheaper at any rate. Against Robylon's credits, about $0.21 a conversation in our example, paying per resolution costs more once the AI resolves more than about one in five.
