What is Nereo?
Nereo is an AI video and image generation platform for creators and marketers that turns prompts, photos, and references into finished assets. It combines Nereo Agent, Text to Video, Image to Video, Reference to Video, and Product Ads, plus 20+ models in one account and one credit balance. It is used by Porsche. Plans run Mini Plan $28.00/month, Standard Plan $56.00/month, and Plus Plan $112.00/month.
What it actually is: one subscription in front of other companies' models
Nereo doesn't train its own video or image models. It's a front end that gives one account and one credit balance access to roughly 20+ third-party models, including Google's Veo 3.1, ByteDance's Seedance 2.0/2.5, Kling 3.0, MiniMax H3, and Google's Nano Banana / Nano Banana Pro image models (nereo.io/ai-models). The pitch is consolidation: instead of separate subscriptions to Runway, Kling, and an image tool, one Nereo plan unlocks all of them, and the exact credit cost of every generation is shown before you commit (nereo.io/pricing).
Pricing: credits, not videos, and the cheap plan is not where the economics work
Three monthly tiers, verified on the pricing page 2026-10-07: Mini at $28/mo (400 credits), Standard at $56/mo (1,600 credits, marked 'Popular'), and Plus at $112/mo (4,800 credits). Yearly billing drops the effective price 28% on Mini and 30% on Standard/Plus, billed upfront. The effective credit price falls as you go up — $0.070/credit on Mini, $0.035 on Standard, $0.023 on Plus — meaning the cheapest-looking plan has roughly 3x the per-unit cost of the top tier. Concretely: a Veo 3.1 1080p clip with audio costs 14 credits, so Mini's 400 credits buy about 28 of them before running out for the month; a 4K Veo clip costs 22 credits, so Mini covers only 18. Credits do not roll over to the next billing cycle. Add-on credit packs are available and stay valid for 90 days (nereo.io/pricing).
Free tier and watermarks
New accounts get 4 starter credits — enough for one 5-second 480p clip on the cheapest model (Seedance 2 Mini) or four Nano Banana 2 Lite images — framed by Nereo as a way to judge output quality before paying. Every model is unlocked during the trial, but Seedance and Veo outputs carry a watermark until the account is on a paid plan (FAQ, nereo.io/pricing).
Who it's built for
The site's heaviest investment — in navigation, templates, and the blog's near-daily publishing cadence — is ecommerce and performance-marketing use cases: turning an Amazon or Shopify product URL into a video ad, UGC-style hooks, TikTok/Instagram Story ad formats, and platform-specific spec guides (LinkedIn CTV, Amazon Sponsored TV, TikTok TopView). General text-to-video and image tools exist but are secondary to this commerce framing (nereo.io/product-ads, nereo.io/blog).
Commercial usage rights — check the specific model's terms
Nereo's Terms of Service say users 'retain rights to your generated videos subject to our usage guidelines' and that 'commercial usage may require appropriate licensing' (nereo.io/terms-of-service), while the pricing page separately states all plans include 'full commercial usage rights' (nereo.io/pricing). Neither page specifies how this squares with the licensing terms of the underlying third-party models (Veo, Seedance, Kling, etc.), which can carry their own commercial restrictions. A third-party review (thereisanaiforyou.com, checked 2026-09-05) flagged this same gap independently, describing the terms as 'muddy' on commercial rights.
Refunds: a narrow window, and credit purchases are final
Subscription refunds require a request within 3 days of the initial purchase and usage of 20 credits or fewer, with an 8% processing fee deducted from anything refunded. One-off credit pack purchases are explicitly non-refundable under any circumstance (nereo.io/refund-policy, last updated July 14, 2025). Switching from an annual plan down to monthly costs one month's subscription fee plus processing fees, deducted before the remaining balance is refunded.
Company and track record
Nereo is operated by Shoshone AI Inc, a Wyoming domestic profit corporation incorporated 26 March 2026 (Wyoming Secretary of State filing #2026-001930904, per Bizapedia's public filing summary). The product itself appears to have launched earlier, around October 2025, under the same operator (thereisanaiforyou.com, checked 2026-09-05). As of 7 October 2026 the Trustpilot profile for nereo.io has zero reviews and a claimed-but-unrated business profile (trustpilot.com/review/nereo.io). No independent press coverage, funding announcement, or team/about page was found.
What's not published
Nereo has no public docs site, no changelog, no status page, and no dedicated security/trust page (checked nereo.io/docs, /changelog, status.nereo.io — all absent as of 2026-10-07). Its privacy policy is a generic one-pager with no mention of SOC 2, data processing agreements, or sub-processor lists.
