The Research Agents catalog on AgentsIndex lists 4 tools built for this job. Most are built for data scientists, analysts, mid-market teams. Only 4 tools clear the bar for Research Agents so far — a young category rather than a crowded one. Open source is rarer here than elsewhere on the index — 0 of 4, against 24% overall — so most choices are a vendor relationship rather than a repository.
