What used to be here
Agent.ai launched at HubSpot's INBOUND conference in September 2024, built by Dharmesh Shah, HubSpot's co-founder and CTO, on a domain he had bought the previous year. It was a free, sign-up-anywhere marketplace where anyone (not just HubSpot customers) could browse pre-built AI agents, run them on a credit system, or build their own with a no-code builder. HubSpot deliberately ran it as an independent product, not a HubSpot feature. Growth was real and vendor-reported: 258,000 users by January 2025, over 2 million by September 2025, and roughly 3 million at the time of shutdown, according to CX Today's coverage of Shah's own INBOUND announcements and the closure notice covered by DomainGang. None of these totals were independently audited; they are Shah's own disclosures.
It closed on 22 August 2026
DomainGang, a domain-industry trade outlet, reported on 28 July 2026 that Agent.ai would retire as a standalone platform on 22 August 2026, with its technology folded into HubSpot's in-product 'Agent Builder' and paid subscribers told they would not be billed again and would keep access through the shutdown date. The Internet Archive corroborates the timeline independently: agent.ai returned HTTP 403 to Wayback's crawler on 16 June and 29 July 2026, then started serving a 308 redirect by 4 August 2026. As of this check (28 August 2026), agent.ai resolves entirely to builderpack.com — there is no marketplace, no agent directory, and no sign-up flow left on the domain.
What actually lives at the URL now: BuilderPack
BuilderPack is a HubSpot-only connected app: 19 discrete actions — LinkedIn/Instagram/X/YouTube lookups, company earnings-call transcripts, domain WHOIS, LLM content generation, image generation, web screenshots, and an 'invoke another agent' step — that show up inside a HubSpot workflow's action list and, separately, as tools you can attach to an agent in HubSpot's own Agent Builder. Installation is a single HubSpot OAuth flow with no API keys and no separate BuilderPack account; the vendor states actions run on its infrastructure and are billed to it, not to the customer, so there is no extra charge beyond having a qualifying HubSpot plan. Research-class actions (e.g. earnings transcripts, LinkedIn activity) run asynchronously so a slow lookup doesn't stall the rest of a workflow — a genuinely sensible design choice for a connected-app action pack. Support runs through [email protected], confirming this is the same team, not a separate acquirer.
Who this is (and isn't) for
BuilderPack only works for existing HubSpot customers: it requires a Professional or Enterprise portal, and HubSpot's own FAQ states Agent Builder isn't available on Free or Starter portals at all. There is no way to use any of its 19 actions, or reach anything resembling the old public agent marketplace, without an active paid HubSpot subscription. Anyone who is not already a HubSpot customer, or who wanted the old cross-platform agent marketplace, has nowhere to go on this domain — the closest equivalent is HubSpot's own Agent Builder product page and its marketplace of pre-built agents at ecosystem.hubspot.com/marketplace.

Check whether the Pro plan's "generous runs" are enough for your expected workflow volume, since the listing does not publish a hard usage cap. If you need predictable throughput, verify that before relying on it for recurring team processes.
