Our verdict
Each AI interaction on Aissist.io costs $0.09, capped at about $0.60 per resolution, and cases handed to a human are not charged. On each run a super agent plans the work and activates specialist sub-agents that cross-check one another before one reply goes out, and a support lead configures it all in a console with no code.
The trade-off to weigh is where data lives and what has been audited: Aissist.io processes and stores data in the United States only, and it holds ISO 27001 certification while SOC 2 is alignment rather than an audited report.
Best for support teams automating tickets in their helpdesk: Aissist.io answers and closes tickets inside the helpdesk a team already runs, and in Auto-Pilot mode it replies and acts on its own.
We checked the published prices of all 5 of these tools and answered 20 questions about what they do, each on the vendor’s own pages, between 22 October 2026 and 23 October 2026.
- Aissist.io bills $0.09 per AI interaction, and the buyer pays the lower of that meter and a cap of about $0.60 per resolution.
- Aissist.io has a free plan that needs no card to start; a card goes in only when a team activates the paid Growth tier.
- Aissist.io publishes no API for driving the agents from your own code; its integration runs the other way, with Aissist calling systems you own for order lookups, refunds and inventory checks.
- Aissist.io keeps processing and storage in the United States only; its security page claims ISO 27001 certification with the certificate in a trust center and describes SOC 2 as alignment rather than certification.

“From Day 1, we committed to a harder, purer principle: No Flow. No Tree. No Rules. No Code”
What Aissist.io does
Aissist.io works as a layer on the helpdesk a team already pays for. It watches the queue and picks up conversations by priority, when they are assigned to the AI agent, or when someone mentions it in a note. Then it answers and closes the case in that same system. The Gateways page lists Intercom, Zendesk, Front, Gorgias and HubSpot as available now.
On each run a super agent plans the work and calls on specialist sub-agents for areas such as refunds, shipping or warranty. They return facts and check one another before one reply goes out. Setup means writing instructions, knowledge assets and sub-agents in a console instead of drawing flows, and the vendor says no code is involved. In Auto-Pilot the agent replies and acts by itself, and Co-Pilot is the opt-in mode where a person asks it for help.
Actions let the agent call systems you own for jobs like order lookups, booking retrieval, inventory checks and refunds. Each action is set up in the console with its endpoint and parameters, linked to sub-agents, and tested in an Action Debugger. Alerts and reports go to each team member by email and to Slack at the workspace level, and cover events, hourly alerts and daily or weekly summaries.
Access and changes are logged across the system, and the logs can be produced for a compliance review on request. Aissist.io claims ISO 27001 certification and keeps a trust center for checking it. Personal details are masked automatically. Conversation history stays in your own helpdesk.
Pricing
- Price: $0.09 per interaction
- Free plan: yes
Aissist.io’s paid Growth tier bills $0.09 per AI interaction, metered on usage and capped at about $0.60 per resolution, with the buyer paying the lower of the two. Growth runs month-to-month with no contract and bills after usage. The standing free plan carries 1,000 tickets a month on the base engine, adds the vendor’s footer to replies, and needs no card.
The paid tier reaches both the base and the advanced engine, and Enterprise is contracted separately. The per-interaction rate fell from $0.15 to $0.09 in late 2025, and the $0.60 cap arrived in mid-2026.
Who it’s for
Small and mid-sized support teams on Zendesk, Intercom or Gorgias that want tickets resolved inside the helpdesk they already pay for.
Who should look elsewhere: You need to drive or configure the agent from your own code, since Aissist publishes no API for that, or if you need an audited System and Organization Controls report or hosting outside the US.
- If you need AI agents that resolve tickets inside the helpdesk you already run: Aissist.io sits on the Zendesk, Intercom or Gorgias desk a team already pays for, picks conversations off the queue and, in Auto-Pilot mode, replies and acts on its own before closing the case in that system.
- If you need to start free and pay only as conversations come in: Aissist.io starts on a free plan, then meters usage at $0.09 per interaction, capped at about $0.60 per resolution.
- If you need a support lead to set up several agents with no code: Aissist.io is set up as written instructions, knowledge assets and sub-agents in a console, signup runs without a sales call, and a super agent coordinates the specialist sub-agents on each run.
- If you need a public API to drive the agents from your own software: look elsewhere. Aissist.io publishes no API for reading or configuring it from outside, and its one API integration has Aissist calling endpoints you own.
- If you need customer data hosted in your own region or an audited security report: look elsewhere. Aissist.io processes and stores data in the United States only, and it holds ISO 27001 certification while describing SOC 2 as alignment rather than an audited report.
- If you need full control over how long conversation data is kept and whether it trains models: look elsewhere. Aissist.io deletes or restricts data on request with no retention window you set yourself, and its terms allow client data to be used to improve the services with no model-training opt-out.

- SOC 2 is alignment rather than an audited report, and processing and storage are hosted in the US only.
- Deletion and restriction happen on request to the vendor, and no retention window you can set is published.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Aissist.io cost?
Aissist.io costs $0.09 per AI interaction, metered on usage and capped at about $0.60 per resolution, whichever is lower. An interaction is one cycle from a customer message to the AI reply, so tagging, a system update and the reply can fall inside one charge. Email, web forms and social average roughly $0.25 per resolution, while web chat, WhatsApp and text messages reach the $0.60 cap. Cases handed to a human are not charged.
Does Aissist.io have a free plan?
Yes. Aissist.io has a free plan that needs no card; a card goes in under Billing only when a team activates the paid Growth tier. Growth runs month-to-month with no contract, so stopping costs nothing, and Enterprise is contracted separately.
Which helpdesks does Aissist.io work with?
Aissist.io’s Gateways page marks Intercom, Zendesk, Front, Gorgias and HubSpot as available now, and the product is built for support teams on Zendesk, Intercom or Gorgias. Salesforce, Kustomer and Freshdesk carry a coming-soon label on that page and have setup guides in the documentation, so confirm their status with the team before buying.
Does Aissist.io have a public API?
No. Aissist.io publishes no API for driving or configuring it from your own code. Its API work runs outward: actions set up in the console call your systems for order lookups, booking retrieval, inventory checks and refunds. Alerts and reports reach the team by email and in Slack.
Is Aissist.io certified for security compliance?
Aissist.io holds ISO 27001 certification, with the certificate published in a trust center, and describes itself as SOC 2 aligned rather than certified. Access and changes are logged across the system, and the logs can be produced for a compliance review on request.
How does Aissist.io pricing compare with Intercom Fin?
Aissist.io charges $0.09 per AI interaction, capped at about $0.60 per resolution, and Intercom Fin charges $0.99 per outcome with a minimum of 50 outcomes a month. The two meters count different things: an Aissist.io interaction is one automation cycle from a customer message to the AI reply, and an Intercom Fin outcome is billed once per conversation and covers confirmed and assumed resolutions. Used with the Intercom helpdesk, Intercom Fin adds per-seat pricing on top.
