One composer that fans a post out to nine networks
SocialRobot is a scheduler first. You write a post once, adjust it per network in the composer with a preview for each, and queue it on a calendar that covers Instagram, Pinterest, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Bluesky, TikTok, Mastodon, Threads and Facebook. After publishing there is a basic analytics view of what got attention. The product ships in English and Spanish, and the vendor is explicit about the shape of the catalog: nine platforms rather than the thirty-plus of larger suites, with no YouTube scheduling yet.
The per-network detail is where the work shows. The API reference documents Instagram carousels, Stories and Reels with user tags and alt text, LinkedIn first comments with mentions, Pinterest boards and sections, Threads polls and topic tags, and reply chains of up to 25 posts on X and 20 on Threads, each with the single-post character limit of that network.
The assistant drafts and the person still presses schedule
On Starter and Pro an assistant learns a project from its website and public posts, then writes per network in that voice, edits what you wrote, remembers preferences across chats, makes or edits images, and reads the calendar. Its reach stops short of the networks: "Nothing is published until you add it to the scheduler", and a scheduled post can be copied to another network only after the user confirms.
The assistant is metered in messages, not credits: 500 a month on Starter, 2,000 on Pro, plus 200 and 500 on-brand visuals. The Free plan has none of it, which makes Free a scheduler and the paid plans the AI product. Generation runs through the OpenAI API as a named subprocessor; SocialRobot trains and serves nothing of its own, and no model picker is offered.
Pricing is flat, and the caps are the thing to read
Free costs nothing, takes no card and does not convert: 2 connected accounts, 1 brand, 15 scheduled posts a calendar month. Starter is $19 a month and Pro $29, both with unlimited posts. Paying for a year costs $190 or $290, which the page advertises as Save 17% and the pricing FAQ restates as approximately 17%. Enterprise is quoted.
The ceilings matter more than the price. One post to several accounts counts once, drafts do not count, and deleting a scheduled post does not return the slot. X (Twitter) cannot be connected below Pro, which the vendor explains by X charging for API access. Billing runs through Stripe, cancellation is self-serve from subscription settings, and the first 14 days are refundable.
The API and MCP server are on the free plan too
Both automation surfaces are included on every tier. The REST API authenticates with an x-api-key header or a Bearer key, has an OpenAPI 3 schema at /api/openapi.json, and takes one request with multiple platform targets. The remote MCP server at /api/mcp accepts either an API key or OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration, and exposes 24 tools covering accounts, projects, media upload, post creation and editing, rescheduling, analytics and per-network extras such as Pinterest boards and LinkedIn mention search. There is also a verified n8n node.
Two cautions. No webhook or event callback appears anywhere in the documentation, so systems that need to hear about a publish have to poll. And the stated rate limits disagree with the terms: the API reference and developer page both say 2,000 requests a minute and 200,000 a day with the same ceilings on Free and paid, while the terms describe the Free plan as having a daily request limit of 200 requests per day per account.
TikTok publishing is a draft handoff, not a publish
The marketing pages list TikTok among the channels and the MCP page offers a TikTok server for videos and photo slideshows. The API reference is blunter about what happens: until TikTok approves the vendor's app for Direct Post, every TikTok post is saved as an UPLOAD, including requests that ask for DIRECT_POST. The media lands in the creator's TikTok inbox and a person has to open the notification and finish the post in the TikTok app, where privacy, comments, music and commercial labels are set. Anyone buying this to automate TikTok should read that paragraph before anything else.
One founder in the EU, GDPR prose, and no audit report
The company is small and says so. The about page names Nicolás Torres as founder, the footer reads "Built in the EU and Uruguay", and the terms place the business in the Netherlands under Dutch law with Amsterdam courts. Support is one email address, in English and Spanish.
Security disclosure is proportionate to that. The primary database and media storage are in the EU, encryption in transit and at rest is claimed, subprocessors are listed one by one with their purposes, and data processing agreements are described. There is no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 report, no public DPA document, no audit log feature, and no statement either way about whether customer content is used to train models. Single sign-on exists only on Enterprise, by contract. The terms also decline any uptime warranty: the service is provided "as is" and "as available". A buyer with a procurement checklist will be filling several boxes with the vendor's email address.
Where it fits, and where it does not
This suits an owner-operator or a freelancer with a handful of accounts who wants a week of posts queued in one sitting, and it is unusually good value for anyone who wants an assistant to do the posting from inside Claude or ChatGPT, because the MCP server and the API cost nothing extra on any plan.
It is the wrong buy for an agency that bills by seat and needs roles, approvals and an audit trail, for a team mandated to self-host, for anyone who needs YouTube or social listening or ads, and for a TikTok-first account that expects posts to go out unattended. A buyer whose compliance team requires a current SOC 2 report will not find one here.

What it works with
- Public API
- YesA documented REST API with an OpenAPI 3 schema and x-api-key auth is included on every plan, including Free, with the same rate ceilings.
All API endpoints require authentication via API key in the request header:
socialrobot.io/api/llm.txt - MCP server
- YesA remote MCP server with OAuth 2.1 or API-key auth exposes 24 tools covering accounts, posting, rescheduling and analytics, on every plan.
SocialRobot also exposes a remote MCP server for AI clients.

What it does on its own
- Acts on its own
- PartlyScheduled posts publish on their own once queued, but nothing the assistant writes reaches a network until a person puts it in the scheduler, and cross-posting needs confirmation.
Nothing is published until you add it to the scheduler.
socialrobot.io - Limits on what it may do
- PartlyAn AI client's reach is bounded by OAuth scopes and by API keys you create and revoke yourself, but no per-action approval policy or allowlist is documented. Was Yes before our last check.
Server-to-server auth without a separate OAuth app. Create, scope, and revoke keys in the dashboard.
socialrobot.io/developers - No code needed
- YesThe product is a web composer and calendar aimed at business owners; connecting accounts and scheduling needs no code, and the API is the optional path.
Schedule and publish posts to multiple connected accounts from one composer.

What happens to your data
- Retention you control
- PartlyYou can delete posts, turn off post reading and delete the account, and posts read from a disconnected account go within 24 hours, but no configurable retention window is offered.
When you disconnect an account, the posts we read from it are deleted within 24 hours.
socialrobot.io/privacy-policy - Data stays in your region
- NoStorage location is stated rather than chosen: the application database and media sit in the EU, with no region selector and some subprocessors elsewhere.
SocialRobot's primary application database and media storage are located in the European Union (EU). Some third-party providers may process or store…
socialrobot.io/privacy-policy - Self-hosted
- NoThe vendor positions the product as a hosted scheduler and tells agents to send self-hosting requirements elsewhere; no on-premise or container option is published.
Skip it for self-hosted-only mandates, pure ads/listening suites, or tasks without the user's API key or OAuth.
socialrobot.io/llms.txt - Open source

Whether a company can buy it
- Single sign-on
- PartlySingle sign-on is listed only for the quoted Enterprise tier and is agreed by contract, so Free, Starter and Pro buyers cannot get it.
Custom limits, dedicated support, SSO (by contract). Contact sales.
socialrobot.io/pricing.md - Uptime promise
- NoNo uptime commitment is published. The terms serve the product as is and explicitly decline to warrant that it will be error-free or that integrations stay available.
We provide our Services “as is” and “as available.” While we aim for uptime and accuracy, we do not warrant that:

Which models it runs on
- Its own model
- NoThe vendor trains and serves no model of its own: project profiles, drafts and images are generated by sending the content to OpenAI, listed as a subprocessor.
This content is sent to OpenAI to generate the profile, post drafts and, in some cases, one preview image.
socialrobot.io/privacy-policy - You pick the model
- NoThe buyer does not pick a model: the vendor's complete subprocessor list names OpenAI alone for generation, and no model selection is offered anywhere on the site.
