wan3video.art is not Alibaba's website. Its own footer says so plainly: "Independent third-party studio — not affiliated with Alibaba, Tongyi Lab, or official Wan AI." It's a hosted front end that calls Alibaba Cloud Model Studio's wan3.0-video model and sells access by the credit. The underlying model is real: Alibaba announced Wan3.0's public beta on its own Alibaba Cloud Community blog on 7 August 2026, and TechNode independently covered the same beta launch on 10 August 2026.

What the underlying model does

Per Alibaba's own Model Studio documentation, wan3.0-video takes text, image, video, audio, file, and link inputs and outputs video at 480P, 720P, or 1080P, up to 30 seconds in a single generation — roughly double the ~15-second ceiling of the prior Wan2.7-Video. Alibaba's launch post highlights document-to-video (PDF/PPT/webpage input) and "Omni-Reference" multi-asset conditioning as the headline new capabilities, alongside native synchronized audio. WHOIS/RDAP records show the domain registered through Namecheap with registrant identity redacted; the only unredacted field is a country code (Iceland), which is typical of privacy-proxy registration and shouldn't be read as the operator's actual location. No legal entity name appears anywhere on the site — Terms and Privacy both refer only to "we"/"WAN 3.0 Video," with no company name or registered address.
