What it does

Health Assistant is a chat interface — web only for now, with iOS and Android "coming soon" per the homepage as of 3 October 2026 — for asking health, supplement, lab-result, and biomarker questions. It's built on the vendor's own agent system, called HealthOS, which runs multi-step research passes (the vendor calls these "reasoning passes" and "tools," e.g. searching PubMed, pulling in cited sources) and shows its sources alongside an answer. You can upload lab PDFs, spreadsheets, FHIR/health-data exports, and images for analysis, and dictate questions by voice.

Where it's genuinely different: data handling

Anistratenco's privacy and security pages (reviewed 7 September 2026) describe a local-first architecture: health-profile data and conversation history are sealed with AES-GCM keys generated and held in your browser, and files you choose to sync are encrypted client-side before upload, so the company says its storage only ever receives ciphertext, not plaintext. A file you explicitly submit for analysis is decrypted briefly in "bounded request memory or an isolated sandbox" and the company states plaintext is not written to its database or object store. The company also states it does not use raw health conversations to train its own models, and does not sell or share health data for advertising. These are vendor claims — there is no independent audit, certification, or SOC 2 report referenced anywhere on the site — but the architecture description is specific and technically falsifiable rather than generic marketing language, which is more than most consumer health-AI tools publish.

Medical scope: deliberately narrow

The Terms state plainly that in its current consumer mode, Health Assistant "does not independently diagnose, prescribe, clinically monitor, or create a relationship with a doctor, therapist, pharmacist, laboratory, insurer, or other licensed professional," and that it is not an emergency service. A separate, more clinical offering is described only as a future possibility contingent on licensure and regulatory work that hasn't happened. For a buyer, this means: useful for understanding your own records and asking research-backed questions, not a substitute for a clinician, and the company is not pretending otherwise.

How pricing works

Two paid tiers, verified on the vendor's /plans pages 3 October 2026: Plus is $19/month ($190/year, billed yearly), one account, a $20/month compute allowance, 500k-token active context, up to 192 reasoning passes per answer, and a 10 GB encrypted file vault. Pro is $49/month ($490/year), covers an owner plus five invited accounts (6 people total) sharing one subscription, doubles most limits (1M context, up to 256 reasoning passes, 50 GB vault per member), and adds "frontier" image understanding. There is no free tier — the only toggle on the pricing page is monthly vs. yearly billing, so this is a straightforward comparison, not one that needs a screenshot to resolve. Both tiers carry a 30-day money-back guarantee on a customer's first subscription only (not renewals). Usage is metered against the monthly compute allowance rather than a hard message cap, and the FAQ on /plans/plus explains that hitting a limit pauses further work rather than losing completed answers.

Company size, funding, and continuity

LinkedIn lists Anistratenco as a 2-10 employee, privately held company with one visible employee, founder and CEO Serghei Anistratenco (LinkedIn, checked 3 October 2026). The company's GitHub organization was created 11 February 2026 and holds only two public repositories: a Mintlify documentation mirror and a forked, unrelated wiki tool — neither is the product itself, which ships only as a hosted web app with no open-source component. Five job postings (SEO/Growth, Frontend, LLM/Memory Engineering, Mobile, Privacy/Security) were live on LinkedIn as of early October 2026, consistent with a team still being built out rather than fully staffed. No funding round, investor, or revenue figure is disclosed anywhere we could find, and Crunchbase's page for the company could not be read past a bot-verification wall. We found no independent reviews on Trustpilot, G2, or via general web search — the only third-party coverage located is a single AI-tool directory (agentic.ai) that scored it on its own rubric rather than reviewing real-world use, last evaluated 29 September 2026.

Check the plan limits against your workflow: Plus allows 4 files per message, 4 tools at once, and 4 minutes of voice input, while Pro raises those to 16 files, 8 parallel tools, and 8 minutes. If you expect heavier uploads or longer spoken sessions, verify which tier you actually need.
